Genshin Impact 5.0 launch OOH Campaign

BRIEF

Genshin Impact, an RPG game with 65m+ players, in celebrating its 5.0 version release and its collaboration with XBOX, sought Comms 8's expertise to increase visibility and awareness in London and Germany through OOH campaign.


STRATEGY

Hand-picked high traffic locations in Cologne and London

Based on the client’s preference, we picked two prime locations in Cologne and London. In Cologne, we strategically selected a high-traffic location directly opposite the Gamescom exhibition centre. In London, we secured a prominent billboard in Leicester Square, a bustling tourist and entertainment hub.

Synchronized Timing for Optimal Impact

To make sure the announcement get the highest the impact, we secure the slots that match the duration of the gamecom, and also the busiest week in the summertime.

Over-delivered impression

With several rounds negotiation and discussion, we managed to gain more playouts of the advertisement on the screen of Leicester square, delivering 3% more impressions.

We successfully executed the OOH campaign in two major cities in Europe, delivering an overall 3 million impressions.
